Mobile Parking Attendant – Manchester relief controller and MSPA

We currently have an opportunity for a Mobile Parking Attendant to cover various sites in the Manchester area.

 

As a Mobile Parking Attendant your role will involve;

 

  • Providing relief cover to our Call Centre in central Manchester
  • Providing relief cover for our central Manchester roving patrol team
  • Undertaking regular car park patrols
  • Issuing the appropriate enforcement notice to vehicles which contravene onsite regulations
  • Customer service
  • General onsite cleaning
  • Frontline machine maintenance
  • Cash reconciliation and banking
  • General onsite admin

 

The ideal candidate will display;

 

  • Good communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Good technical experience and ability to use smart phones and / or PDA’s
  • Good use of Microsoft packages (word/excel) and emails
  • The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times
  • The ability to work under their own initiative and self-motivate
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Awareness of Health and Safety

 

The role is full time for a minimum of 30 hours per week working various shifts between the hours of 6.00am to 2.00am on any day between Monday and Sunday as there will be no set days each week. As such the successful candidate will need to be flexible as the rota can change to suit business needs.

 

The successful applicant must hold a full driving licence with their own vehicle that has a full current MOT and Class A business insurance.

 

Rate of pay is £6.50 + £0.50 bonus per hour. An enhanced rate of pay of £6.50 + £2.36 bonus will be paid for all hours covering in the Call Centre.

 

The role will be subject to reference, CRB and CCJ checks. The cost of the CRB is deductible. Items of uniform such as shirt/trousers will need to be provided by the successful candidate however all logoed items will be provided by the company. Full training will be provided.
