We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to work in the Human Resources Team based in central Manchester.
The department is undergoing a period of change broadening and modernising many of the functions and support systems the team provides. The role offers a great deal of exposure to a broad variety of generalist HR functions and would suit individuals with previous experience at a similar level that are now looking to progress in their career and develop their skills and experience and help take the department through its next phase of progress in the business.
Your main responsibilities will include:-
We are looking for a candidate with CIPD accreditation at degree level or equivalent, previous experience in handling a variety of investigation/disciplinary, consultations and grievance issues is a necessity.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of up to date employment and case law and be able to provide advice and guidance on best practice. The ability to effectively and confidently communicate to a broad spectrum of individuals with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy is an essential requirement. Previous experience of providing coaching and mentoring to managers/colleagues both face to face and distance would be advantageous.
Candidates must be able to work both as part of a team and manage their time and workloads efficiently leading by example. Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including word, outlook and excel.
Salary is between £18,000 and £23,000 dependent upon on experience and will be discussed at interview.
