Car Park Manager – Nottingham

We currently have an opportunity for a Car Park Manager in Nottingham.

As a Car Park Manager your role will involve;

  • To act as first point of contact for motorists, site owners and the general public delivering excellent customer communication, guidance and assistance.
  • To ensure that vehicles contravening the set terms and conditions are accurately issued a parking charge notice and collate all necessary supporting evidence in line with the Euro Car Parks Standard and the BPA Code of Compliance.
  • To perform daily checks and undertake basic maintenance, minor repairs, ticket replenishment to the pay and display machines and parking systems.
  • To make observations when patrolling of any maintenance requirements, health and safety issues and report defects and issues as necessary.
  • To assist in the staff induction process and manage a team of staff to ensure that the car park runs smoothly and is profitable.
  • To maintain cleanliness and expected standards of the car park, including the maintenance and upkeep of signage within the parking areas.
  • To erect signage and follow correct reporting procedures, as directed by Euro Car Parks.

Health & Safety:

Ensure the companies health and safety policy statement is adhered to, assisting with implementation and monitoring of companies internal policies and procedures as required.

Flexibility:

Your attention is drawn to the fact that in some cases particular duties and responsibilities are difficult to give a detailed definition and may vary from time to time. In addition it is a requirement of all employees that they accept elements of flexibility in duties and responsibilities which will meet the changing needs and demands of the business.

Any other reasonable management duties that may be required.

The ideal candidate must display:

  • Must have excellent people skills and be a great communicator.
  • Must be polite, courteous with an exceptionally smart appearance.
  • You must have basic IT skills and be computer literate with an understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be punctual and reliable with a great work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must have a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Well organised and capable of meeting targets.
  • Able to work well individually and as part of a team reporting into an Area Manager.

The role is full time for 40 hours per week working 5 days out of 7, however the successful candidate will need to be flexible as the rota can change to suit business needs.

Rate of pay is £25,000 per annum.
